the Druid Garden

Back to back roof top adventures. A serene microbrewery with a gaze of the city from the roof top, this place is worth visiting by all means.  I have thought of visiting this place many times but that never materialised. However this weekend I ended up at Druid Garden out of the blue.
Now Druid Garden is a place for craft beer lovers and the options are also pretty good. If you know your beers then this is the best place to be at.

The options:
HEFEWEIZEN
DUNKELWEIZEN
CZECH PILSNER LAGER
RAUCHBIER
IRISH STOUT
INDIAN PALE ALE

This time I wanted to have a word with the brew-master before ordering anything. I had a little doubt as to if the brew-master would be free to meet me, but he was more than happy to respond. Sadly he couldn’t spend enough time as he had prior commitments but he suggested me to try the Irish Stout or the Indian Pale Ale. Wanted to know more about his expertise and his journey to India into being the brew-master of Druid Garden, the beers he brew regularly, but time ran out. @Maty_Czechbrewmaster has however promised to spend some more time and answer to the queries I might have, the next time I visit.

Irish Stout:

ABV – 5.5%; IBU – 35

This traditional styled beer is known for its smooth and creamy texture. The roasted malt flavors often gives a taste of coffee and packs quite a punch. This beer is dark and strong and a heavy lander on bitterness.
The stout that I had here was brewed to perfection by the brew master @Maty_Czechbrewmaster. The coffee flavored hops and barley, the creamy texture and consistency of the smoothness was noteworthy. One of the best brews available here at Druid Garden.

Indian Pale Ale:

ABV – 5%; IBU – 20

IPA needs no introduction, courtesy to its worldwide fans. This hoppy style beer is famous for being strong and bitter and exploring the fruity flavors.
The IPA I had here was lovely. The tropical citrus fruit aromas and the bitterness are apt for any IPA lover. Smooth and pale as it is, it packs quite a punch with a nice ABV. A perfect companion for summer evenings, this beer is certainly one of best at Druid Garden.

The options still had a couple more beers that I wanted to try out but I wanted to keep them for the next visit. You need excuses to come back when you have a micro-brewery close to your home. And also, the discussion with @Maty_Czechbrewmaster is pending.

So Druid Garden, I will be back for some more beer very soon.
